was it just me, or was last night's House just really... weird? maybe it was just the way they cleverly skipped the usual credits that completely tripped me out. i dunno, but i always do love watching Hugh Laurie play the piano. guh

yeah, they ran the credits over the start of the episode.
and i totally get what you're saying. in fact, if this show didn't have such a phenomenal leading man cast and absolutely flooring dialogue, i doubt i'd be able to stand it. it's far too formulaic, and most of the characters do seem to have gotten fairly static in their development.
but the thing is, i don't actually mind. i'll watch Hugh Laurie do anything, and i watch House to watch House be House. so i'm pretty happy they came back with it where they did - i'm willing on this one to sacrifice potentially more interesting Change for assured Entertainment. gimmie the cane and the pills and the surly, and please don't ever stop.
