Everything had been so off, this week, from the students around him to the way the island itself was feeling to Hinata, and that calm-before-the-storm feeling was starting to gnaw at Warren a bit, to the point where, when he made his way into their room, the look of concern was etched across his features before he even got a look at his roommate.
Looking at her just made him more worried, really.
Warren took that into careful consideration, meeting her gaze for a moment before nodding a little and stepping into the room, shutting the door carefully behind himself.
"Anything I can help with, maybe?"
If he was going to be interrupting, because yes, he did know the girl he'd been living with for half a year better than that, then he might as well be making some use of himself. Interrupting was one thing. Warren couldn't stand the thought that on top of that, he'd also be in the way.
Yei, feeling sulky about mommy was going to go and try and curl around Warren's feet. Hmph. Mommy was being mean. So meaaan. She was all neglected see?
Keep in mind that Yei went for the ankles of any person that entered the room, however.
"Not really." Hinata studied the book for a long moment before shutting it with a soft clap of paper against paper. "There is nothing I can do at this point either."
Except worry. And simmer about the whole situation.

He was interrupting, of course, but she could hardly kick him out of his own room.
Pale pale eyes flicked up to him. "I was just reading."
Reading had been happening, yes. Her mood, however...
