Someone posted about TED.com a long time ago. I thought it was really cool back then and I just found it again because hello_lamppost posted about it.

But I can't remember what made me go there in the first place. Was it one of you guys?

Hmmh. I don't remember whether I ever posted about it on lj - but during Welcome Week activities at my school this past fall I met a guy from Singapore who also did not really want to salsa dance, so we were talking about Singaporean politics and he told me about TED.com and that he wanted to "start a society" or something about it... I haven't gone to the site as much as I'd intended to, but it seems awesome; thanks for reminding me! xp (Anyway, it might have been me, but it could easily/likely have been somebody else.)
