Prompt Table:  Here

1. Passion
Safely behind locked doors, soft forms sheltered only by the warm, comforting bedsheets, a passion arose within them that neither would experience with any other.

2. Dark
When the world was once again shrouded in darkness, and the moonlight danced across the open seas, a calmness would wash over them, soothing the fiery pleasures and pains that that exhausting day had thrust upon them.

3. Change
Only when alone would Lord Beckett's carefully crafted mask slip from his face, and the true Cutler would peep out uncertainly, showing a sincerity and vulnerability that only Theodore was privy to.

4. Simple
It was the simple things that Theodore enjoyed in the mornings; a beam of sunlight streaming through the window, the joyous chirping of a waking bird or the rush of waves against a sturdy wooden hull, but most of all he enjoyed the gentle kiss that would make its way to his warm cheek every morning without fail.

5. Heaven or Hell?
One night Cutler would be purring cheerfully, whispering his dreams and victories to his favourite Lieutenant, and then the next night he would be shrieking pitifully, sobbing his nightmares and failures.

6. Different
Theodore was warm, Cutler was cool; Theodore was tanned, Cutler was pale; Theodore was friendly, Cutler was foreboding; Theodore was Cutler's, and Cutler was Theodore's.

7. Friends
Cutler had Jack and Theodore had James, but one went away and the other was taken, so all they had left was each other.

8. Past
Theodore's past was simple and sweet, while Cutler's past was complicated and sour, and together their moments were often bittersweet, but they wouldn't trade their time together for the world.

9. Future
With Cutler leading them along the fragile line to victory, their future looked bright and wholesome, but there were dark, gaping voids on either side of that line that looked so easy to fall into.

10. Spring
A rounded purple flower burst out of the lush grass, dancing in the breeze that carried the warbling song of the birds, until it is gently plucked from the ground and presented as a whimsical gift to the cheerfully surprised Lieutenant.

11. Summer
Theodore loved the warm, playful Summer days that promised hours of fun and mischief; Cutler hated the hot, burning Summer days that promised hours of torture and sweat.

12. Autumn
A boisterous ginger leaf, its shape so perfectly crafted by nature, daringly leapt from its branch on the sturdy tree and wafted down into the waiting palms of the Lieutenant, who promptly presented it to his Lord as a gift.

13. Winter
Cutler loved the frosty, dazzling Winter days that promised hours of beautiful snowfall and a lively coolness that reminded you you were alive; Theodore hated the freezing, unforgiving Winter days that promised hours of shivering and biting coldness that made your feet lose all sensation.

14. Ice
Theodore decided that Cutler was like ice; magnificently beautiful, perfectly sculpted, but sharp and frosty with the frightening ability to be remorseless and unrelenting.

15. Warmth
Theodore was the warmth that Cutler's cold form would snuggle up against on the lonely Winter nights, making them that much more bearable.

16. Heat
Heat thrust upon them by a burning Summer's day was unbearable, but heat they created on a cool Winter's night was simply delightful.

17. Memory
Dark eyes, roguish grin, broken promises and a betrayal far too painful; a shriek, a cry, a whimper; warm arms, hugging, holding, cradling; everything is alright, the memory fades and the present arrives, and in it is someone far more sincere, far more lovable, far more loved.

18. Holiday
Without the heavy weight of work pulling down the Lord, Cutler is free to laugh and join in the play of his lighthearted Lieutenant as together they set out to travel for pleasure, not for business.

19. Blood and Tears
Unable to bear the loneliness and regrets, Cutler bathes himself in blood, until his saviour swoops down and holds him close, caressing him gently and bathing them both in tears, whispering that everything will be ok, even though they both know it won't be.

20. Lovers
Despite their ages both were inexperienced lovers, and both revelled in learning the ancient art together, painting their love in their own creative ways.

21. Parents
Theodore was kind like his mother, and noble like father; Cutler was sweet like his mother, and bitter like father.

22. Poison of all Sorts
The wine had tasted funny, so with a sniff of disdain, Cutler sneered at the stupidity of his enemies and delicately touched the back of his throat with his gloved fingers, buying himself another day of life while Theodore looked on with much concern.

23. Scars
Soft skin, perfectly rounded face, a porcelain figure hidden beneath expensive fabric; only Theodore saw the vicious scars that ripped across the pale form that purred contentedly at his side, and if they didn't bother Cutler, then they didn't bother him either.

24. Play
Whickering and stomping their feet, the grey stallion and black mare wanted to play, so their riders loosened the reins and let the mounts frolick, a pair of lovers playing a simple game beneath a pair of lovers.

25. Alone
They could not be themselves when together at work, so even when Theodore was at attention nearby, Cutler still felt dreadfully alone.
