The dialog that starts at "You are pirate." I totally read as the tone he used at the beginning of DMC when he was talking to Will on the balcony mixed with the one he used when he was speaking with Jack aboard the Endeavor.

I felt bad for making Beckett totally own the argument. He has some pretty logical points there. I guess Elizabeth was too worried about her situation to come up with anything better.
