Jerry Falwell has died. I'm not gonna celebrate anyone's death, but.....I'm certainly not sad. The man was such a bigot and so pompous that it's almost beyond comprehension. Good riddance to him, and hopefully his "Moral Majority" and uptight university will quickly fade into oblivion.

I will. My religion tells me to love your enemies and to turn the other cheek.

Falwell used the name of my religion to prey on the naive, injure the innocent, and acquire power in the name of someone whose teachings he ignored.

Good riddance.

While Jerry Falwell assumed our suffering of disasters and terrorist attacks were God's wrath over homosexuals and feminism, I always wondered what we'd done wrong to suffer Jerry Falwell.
