A query letter for Grey Eyes has been sent to a book agent! *pause for gasps all around* Yep. You read that right, a plea to consider my book has been e-mailed this morning to an agent. *pause with hand over heart, trying to get a grip on my nerves*

So the quest for getting published has begun! It

Hillary! This is so. freakin'. exciting. WAY TO GO Heather, and way to go YOU for seeing it through and sending the thing. It gives me nervous shakes on your behalf - but the first one has to be the hardest, and now the journey has officially begun!!!!! :D

I'm really loving this second read-through of Grey Eyes, btw. And I'm trying to take my time, be really picky, and make lots of notes. Ewan just got shot (*SOB*) so I'm heading into the last third of the book... hopefully I'll get it back to you on Thurs. :)

ACK!! I am so so so so so so (ok, just multiply "so" by about 46 billion) PROUD of you!!! This is just... AWESOME! I get the fear and the comfort zone thing which just makes me all the prouder of you for finally releasing Grey Eyes into the world. Also, you have a totally kick-ass sister!!

Just remember, despite the inevitable rejections... YOU WROTE AN AWESOME BOOK! That people already love. You will write many more. And someone somewhere is going to recognize that.
