I need to update with the sad news that I had to give Houla to the animal shelter, because - well - we weren't suited, and I really couldn't crate him for 12 hours straight. He's not very old, and if I can't in good conscience do it to the old greyhound I want to adopt, then I definitely can't do it to a young, bouncy dog of a much more active temperament. (Also, he walked me into the ground and was still ready for more on Saturday. I may need to enter endurance training before I get any dog! *rotflmao*)
He is, however, super cute, and disgustingly good-natured (seriously!), so I don't think he'll 'last' long in the shelter.
