I'm continuing to be disappointed by people who still claim some major superiority of Trek in Trek vs Wars debate (Which as far as I'm concerned was ended decisively somewhere in 2002). I welcome discussion of this and other ideas below.

I enjoyed the new ST movie. I have a slight preference for ST in general, although I'm not actually that fond of the original television show. Dunno why one has to be better than the other though. Can't we just appreciate having both? :D

Oh it's fine, and I'm a fan of both.
When you're talking about having an objective comparisons of the measurables of the two though, that's when people can get a bit stupid. And by a bit I mean a whole lot.

Paramount and Lucas should do a joint project to settle this once in for all.

And at the end, they should reveal the winner was chosen via a coin flip.

It would be hilarious. It's too bad competition in the film industry is too fierce for this to have a hope of happening though. :)
