Sometimes I kinda feel useless compared to my sister. I'm only academically stronger than her(?). but look where that got me? A 9-12 job that I don't feel particularly passionate about, a "typical" life and no overseas exposure

silly.. you definitely has your plus point too. everybody has. you probably just haven found it yet. if something good comes along, you should fight for it.
