in conclusion, corn liquor in your gas tank. it's now or never, people. drain that wine cooler into the tank too, 'cause it's useless as anything else.

also, hummers stopped being cool when H2 and H3 came out. and when it cost a hundred bucks to fill them up. at least an H1 can be useful.

at this point, i just don't even know what to say/do anymore.

congress needs to get some balls and actually start representing their constituents instead of bowing to the lobbyists and the party whip.

but hey, at least the supreme court is gonna be okay.. right? oh. we have a nominee who has never served as a judge or in any judicial position whatsoever.

goddamnit, how long are our (roughly) "elected" officials going to get away with this shit?

Y'know, I was quite surprised... representative Frank Wolf, he who always nods and smiles to the hard Republican line, voted against some anti-environmental legislation last week. Iunno what prompted that decision, but it made me smile, because I sent him a letter urging him to do so (along with, I'm sure, all the rest of the Sierra Club). I think Congress has only gotten lazy because it can... too many people just bitch or go to the free concerts -- pardon me, "protests" -- and don't actually hold their gov't accountable. If every elected official suddenly got a flood of real mail from real people -- not just lobbying groups -- they might think twice.
