ok well hostage situation is still going on, it's so horrible! Going on 3 days! I heard from a few family memebers, they said they hadne't gone to there, obviously. They don't know about the rest of my family. They just said, this is my father's sister, that her and her 2 kids didn't go. So thats out of the safe. Yes, I noticed a lack of concern too, which upsets me. I'm lucky that the people I live with keep up and keep me informed and at least pretend to be interested. My roommates brother kept telling me updates. I find the lack of interest in other countries highly upsetting, but that's just me *hugs*

the lack of caring is ridiculous. Russia was there for teh US during the sept. 11, the whole world was, now where is the world for where I call home? Its sad, its as if people of the world still think russians are that sterotypical tyrant communist nation that ended nearly 10 years ago!
