Is it possible for a husky (or any dog) to still get fleas even if they've been washed with flea shampoo and have had the monthly drops (Advantage) against fleas put on them?

Thats the problem we're having. Even with the flea shampoos, and the flea meds(we use Frontline, same thing as advantage, different brand)... and she still has fleas. We're trying to get rid of them off the carpets and the backyard as well, but so far, no luck.

Just using Advantage back when I used to live in California worked like a charm, but now that I'm in MS, it stinks. Could be the humidity level. Dunno...

You should take your pets out of the house and bomb the entire thing. That'll not kill only the fleas, but any other bugs you have in your house.

Yes, it's possible. We weren't able to get rid of the fleas on my Huskies until we sprayed some flea spray on their coats and let them outside while I bombed the entire house. Only then were we rid of the fleas.
