thanks! my husky is 1.4 years old so she's right around your furbabies age! she's really mellow in a car and loves to lay on me! *laughs* she's such a funny girl! i've never posted pictures of her because i didn't have any online to share but my friends have taken pix and i'll chare those after the move!

thanks for the good vibes for our journay! i'll definitely update on moving a husky crouss country 101! ;)

take care!

Crate is probably the best way. Mine can slip out of the seat belt harness. They are too smart for their own good. If they happen to get car sick from the long trip, give them dramamine. Just like we take for motion sickness. It will also relax them. Good luck and a safe trip.

I hadn't thought of dramamine, I better get some to keep on hand. With my luck at least one of them will get car sick :)

I hadn't even considered that they might slip out of their harness thanks for bringing that up.

Weird! I used to live in Santa Barbara, CA. I moved in with my boyfriend who is stationed in Pascagoula, MS. But his parents live in the panhandle. Destin, FL, so we go there every other weekend.

aw I love santa barbara, my cousin and brother in law both were going to school there for a while :)

that's awesome how you can visit so easily from MS. all my inlaws are from cali so it was nice to be able to be close to some family while here :)

I woudl be prepared for both the crate travel and the harness travel. Try the harness...my dogs don't seem to fuss much with it. Except they have trouble laying down and napping with it on and THAT can be invaluable on the road...them napping that is ( ... )

your dogs are beautiful, I *heart* your icon.

whatever method we choose we definately will have both dogs doing the same thing. We try to be fair with them so they don't get jealous!

Whenever they have gone on short little car trips they've been crated together, so they are used to that.

thanks for the help :)
