Stupid internet... and art!
Here are a couple pieces I did for family for Christmas. This will probably be the last year of copy-pretty-photos-for-gifts. I think they look alright but it’s not creative. Meh.
These are 4”x4” tiles I made into coasters. I like the coasters and first considered selling others on Etsy but not only did they take forever I am not Barbier and don’t own the designs, unfortunately. Oh, and motetus, I think I remember seeing his elephant somewhere… ;) I made this with a fine tip paint pen and an exacto knife to scrape away excess on a regular glazed white tile.
This is a pastel painting of Florence - sorry it's out of focus, but it was too large to fit on my scanner.
My MIL likes hummingbirds. I tried painting it first in acrylic and it was AWFUL. My brain doesn’t know how to make acrylic work, so for now I’ll stick with watercolor.
