Congrats on the name change and the word count! Slow but steady and all that :)

Also, cannot wait for Legend. I pray for gratuitous nudity and makeouts, but will settle for any physical contact between mobster + moll.

I pray for that, too! A mutual follower who attended a test screening told me Ronnie and Teddy never do anything physical; Teddy is just always present when Ron is. A bit disappointing, but hey, things might change from test to final film! I live in hope.

That is a healthy word count! (Also, there's a small but excellent collection of Handsome Bob fic if you've never looked for it).

:D It seems paltry compared to the thousands of words per day I used to spit out (followed by a months-long hibernation), but this way is much more sustainable.

And I have checked out a few, but it's been a while. I should go see if there are any new offerings...

Oh man, so I've been thinking lately about how tumblr is a time suck and I enjoy it but it eats up a lot of both my temporal and mental/emotional real estate. I was literally just sitting here thinking "I need to try being more active on LJ again, cause it's a more intimate circle and less all-consuming." AND I LOG INTO LJ AND LOOK HERE YOU ARE! (i'm not stalking you I promise...only a little maybe).

*Cheers you on!* Yay I like the word count idea and I'm super excited for more of your writing. More Double Take will be my bedtime story tonight, yes. *nods*

Also OMG LEGEND I AM EXCITE! Every time I watch the trailer I find something new that I love.

That is so true. I was trying to explain to my beta just a few hours ago that, due to the way the dashboard rapidly refreshes 24/7, I feel weirdly compelled to stay on tumblr for ages. (I think I just ended up sounding like I was accusing tumblr of casting some weird spell on me.)

And hurrah! I hope the new chapter entertains! :D
