i am grateful that i have maybe another month in it. and then it is time for a vacation!

i mean, if it were my job and i had got the position, i would be happy to have it...

but i can take a blessing at its worth, and i am looking forward to getting out. so much so, that my apathy for the job i have been doing is beginning to show.

i am gearing up to take a vacation within the next couple of months, and utterly undecided on how to spend it. perhaps i will visit relatives, perhaps not.

either way, i need to get my shit together asap.

too much stuff

i am hoping to escape work tomorrow early enough that i can ride the 12 miles (round trip) to donate blood at the portland donor center. they stop taking donations, which take about an hour to process, at 1300. i get off work at 1330, but as my slowest day of the week...

i could make it. i wonder if it will happen.

i installed the video card i got for free the other day at the same time as the hard drive i got on monday at the same cost. bad idea, of course; if either is faulty, it is harder to figure out which is the source of the problem.
