I wish they said at which point she had the two fused (or whatever). also, I can't help but wonder, if they hadn't induced her labor, would they have been born at the same time?

i re-read and the article said she had an operation when she was 21. and yeah, if the babies could only pass through one hole, then being in labor with two babies simultaneously would have been super-problematic.
