He was giving a speech and said "George Bush sure dug a hole for us this time and McCain was carrying the shovel." Come on! Then what about the legislators in his own party that made Fannie and Freddie lend at 2.5% coverage, take campaign money from them, and blocked any regulation? Then Pelosi, Reid, Dodd, and Frank were blaming Bush too while ignoring their own role in it. I'm so disgusted I'll never vote for a Democrat for the rest of my life!

Only Sith deal in absolutes! :-p

Remember, both parties are ripe with opportunistic assholes.

Point is, there's going to be elections where the Dem is better. There's going to be elections where the Rep is better. You just have to look at the big picture and not give in to partisanship. Because that's how the biggest assholes in a party keep us in check.

In this case, corruption that was part of the culture of an entire party cost the country $700 Billion, then the ones responsible shirt any accountability and use their mistakes as torpedoes on other people... It's going to take a lot for me to ever put trust in them after this.

And the Republicans used the Iraq war as leverage against anyone opposed to it, both countries and individuals, simply reducing it to supporting our troops and essentially reducing our culture into black-and-white Communist witch hunt terms. They even went so far as to connect it with the questions of torture; we are unpatriotic for speaking against things such as waterboarding and detaining suspected individuals for years without trial. Meanwhile, there's no accountability on their part, $558,000,000 (and counting) in costs to taxpayers. Not all that unlike the Democrats with the economy right now, when you think about it.
