Fireworks? Esplanade?

Is anyone planning on going down to the Esplanade (Cambridge side, maybe?) for July 4? I usually think its fun, with other folks and some games/food to hang out for the evening part - and Will has never seen fireworks.

Let me know b/c it would be nice to plan a little.

Ah, I was wondering when (and why) the show order got so heavily rearranged.

It *used* to be that the guest artist was on while there was still daylight, the Stars & Stripes Forever was the second-to-last part of the program, and the beginning of the fireworks supplemented the cannon for the end of the 1812 Overture. Now? It's all weird...
