I can't currently relate to what you're going through, but I was preparing for it. See, I originally was going to attend a military college in Georgia where you can barely come home at all. I didn't want to leave my boyfriend and friends behind. Then on October 19th a car ran a red light and my life changed forever. Bearing the label "disabled," my military career was taken away from me in a split second. When August rolls around and I'm at DeSales I'll be 3.5 hours away from my boyfriend. It's not nearly as bad as what I had planned on doing, but still bad enough. I wish I knew what to say that would help. :-\
ahh don't worry you don't have to say anything. i just take things really hard here, especially because the majority of the people in the grad program either went here for undergrad, or live here with their boyfriends or husbands or whatever, so it really sucks being one of the like 2 or 3 people in this situation. and im overemotional anyway :)
but im sorry about what happened with military school. i work per diem for west point sometimes. (its about 10 minutes from my house in ny)
