I love the idea of House playing pranks on Wilson even while he's an hospital bed, and Wilson seeing through it, and just deciding to enjoy the show.

OT The detail about going in to have a shower and finding the soap bar (minnow, LOL) is too small for comfort, then losing the minnow was so very real.

Oopsie! My story might not have been clearly written. Not so sure what House did would be considered a prank as much as it was about saving Wilson without taking credit. He also wanted to save Wilson's pride by not acknowledging he had seen him floundering buck nekkid on the floor.

Alas, writing fast is not my forte. :-(

I may have to remind you that English's not my native language. You wrote clearly and I got it right, but what I meant by prank was the whole story House was spinning about half of New Jersey losing power, and it not being House who had saved Wilson, indeed the whole pretense that House could have gone and enjoyed the fireworks while Wilson lay sick in a hospital bed.
And Wilson, though sick, saw through House's story and guessed the truth. I shouldn't write comments before the morning's first coffee.

Part 1 was really great at the play-by-play that lead up to the accident. I was horrified at the end. The little girl shrieks were a good touch.

Part 2 won my heart. House, that slippery character, is busted!

lol. I had a lot of fun with the first part, but didn't want Wilson to become toast. House needed to save him in the second, but in warped guardian angel way.

This was awesome! Part 1 ended in a kind of horrifying note (even if it was also pretty funny in 'oh damn' sort of way) and Part 2 totally fixed it with House standing vigil and saving Wilson's behind rather literally. Love how Wilson can see through House even while groggy and with 2nd degree burns.

Wilson is clearly not on enough painkillers not to see right through House. :)

The idea of a concerned House watching a naked Wilson flopping on the floor like a fish while the paramedics arrive makes me wish I had at least some tiny artistic ability. It makes a great mental visual though. :)
