Kenny is probably 15-20 years older than me but, if I must say, he's one of those older guys that are still attractive despite the age. But I don't think much of it. IIRC, he had a wedding band on but now I can't remember if it was on his left or right hand. :-/
Anyway, what he said totally made me smile and had me feeling a little better. :p
Seriously one day? My whole flist will be living in one big commune house!! I can't wait :D
Dude. That sounds sickly exciting. All the headcases here huddled together? AWESOME! :P
Well, a lot of those statements were LA-based, so I think that's why I got the edge. How many celebs are going to Starbucks in Sacremento? ;p
The last thing I wanna do is overthing the situation. I always look too deep into things that have no business being looked into. Kenny was probably being a nice guy who wanted to make a bummed out girl feel better.
Glad you stopped by and gave us an update. I was thinking about you yesterday and wondering how you were doing.
I agree, don't over think the manager's comments. It could have just been a nice to say, the sensual beauty thing...and if it was, I think it was a really nice thing to say because it was something specific and shows he was really looking at you, other than a generic, oh you're very pretty line. Whether he was flirting or not, he sounds like a nice guy, taking the time to ask if you were okay and then really listening to you - which is probably why you responded by telling him stuff you might not normally tell a casual acquaintance. You probably needed to talk. Hope you felt better afterwards and that things are okay at work today. =)
I usually have LJ if I need to talk but it's been so rare that I've been able to get on, I think I just latched onto the first person to ask me a personal "How are you?" question. It felt good to release all that. :)
I view every guy as a potential friend and rarely with a "Wow..that guy could be a nice fit to me" and when do think of a guy as something more, it just gets bad. I told him I'm completely oblivious if any guy tries to hit on me
Oh man, I echo that statement so, SO much. *sigh* No matter what your manager's intentions were, it was a nice thing for him to say, for sure.

I hope you'll feel better soon Ash. I know you had a rough day, so be good to yourself tonight. Have more sushi. :-)
I'm the last person to ask about how to interpret the actions and speech of men. But don't overthing it, that way lies madness.
*hugs*

Truer. Words. Never. Spoken.
