Look at Giles...jealous, uncomfortable, overwhelmed, stressed and suffering from performance anxiety...ha ha...couldn't have happened to a nicer guy

I just love the way that you are delving deep deep down into eval!Giles psyche...extremely well done...and showing how his feelings are warping what he is seeing. Love, love, love it

Another superb chapter. Love the similarities between Giles/Angel's pasts and the power that radiates from the older vampire without him saying a word (verbally). Spike crawling into Angel's arms for comfort supports the imagery you've built up of a big lazy cat protecting its (adopted?) litter-mate. And Spike deserves to be protected.

I think Giles may be underestimating what his pets can get up to together and how strongly they've bonded. Your last sentence just invites trouble.

Really, really loving this story.

I like the way this story is progressing. The interactions between Angel and Spike are very compelling. I can just picture them, and all the lickage? Fabulous. I thought the giggling was cool, too. It sort of demonstrated how far their relationship has progressed.

I love Giles's over analytical nature. I love the vampires snuggling up and looking after each other. I cried for Spike.

I just adore this so damn much.

I don't know how it's possible but every chapter gets better and better.
