For me, it's a core part of his personality. He wouldn't be William if he didn't have a streak of stubborness a mile wide. I still contend that he had it on the show even before he was vamped, as it took a lot of guts to propose to Cecily the way he did.
Oh, I agree with you. He'd just been publically humiliated, yet he went and spoke to her anyway. That suggests either massive arrogance (which is not a vibe I got) or a stubborn "I'm not going to be put off" attitude. In fact, I think it was quite brave, and even Doug Petrie said it was in his commentary of FFL.
Mmm...so good - and love that William's really getting into this! Am having strange Chance flashbacks what with him wearing all that makeup! Ooh...Ripper next - why is it that Giles is always so delightfully evil?
Ah, we now have the beginning of finding out "why Spike is a whore and can be paired with anyone"! Hee hee. I love that he's almost into this and yet its freaking me out at the same time! The decision between wanting him to stay almost innocent and wanting him to be corrupted! Oh, who am I kidding? Corrupt away!

The whole Andrew/William thing was kinda scary. If anything happened...Ripper would have been so mad. *shivers*
*s* Would be eternally grateful for more soon.
