Maybe with people onside, they'll be able to track Spike down - unless Angel finds him first of course. Then I would expect Methos to be in for a world of hurt.

The problem with Methos is that he's 5000 years old. K, normally not a problem, but the thing is, souled vampires are one of the few things he's never seen in his entire life. He'll have a hard enough time dealing with Angel's curse, let out with a vampire like Spike who voluntarily got his soul back.

I do think, that once he does come to face with that, he'd probably have more respect for Spike than anyone ever could. This is after all a former massmurderer, raider, rapist,... who knows how hard it was for him to pull out of that kind of lifestyle... And unlike Spike and Angel, Methos did have a soul while he committed those atrocities.

It's probably cause he knows evil, that he's so sure that a vampire can't change, can't stop being evil. Because it's something he hasn't seen happen in over five millennia of life...
