Today I was going about my business finishing up a frustrating piece of code for a client when I read the rumor about Apple buying Nintendo. This rumor has recurred from time to time within Apple's religiously devout fan base. I don't buy it. The companies have more differences than similiarities, starting with the fact that Nintendo is a JAPANESE company with a public reputation. Japanese business practices are VERY different than American ones ( ... )

I don't think a financial merger is necessarily likely. But a collaboration of some variety is a really good idea. And apple is out there looking for any company they can use to further their market share. They just collaborated with Nike to import data from a nike smart shoe into the ipods. Apple wants this sort of collaboration. Does nintendo? I don't know ( ... )
