Long time no write! I've been almost sucked up by that crazy twitter thingie to write any post here.
I'll break the silence to introduce you the restyling of my home page over at slackware.it. As you can see I gave it some css love as the old one was a spooky plain html white on black site :D

always 504 Error

i have configured everything correctly , step by step , but it did not work for me , still give me : 504 error , TTL expire
i was watching data counter , its 0 all the time.
i have iPhone 3gs , os 4.3.3
btw , it was working with me , but after Restore and jailbreak , everything stopped
i hope you help

sth else , for people who asked how to run TOR over 3G or GPRS , there is a tool from apple called : ( iPhone Configuration Utility )
u can guys configure the proxy and port via it

You should try enabling logging: ssh login into the device and edit the config files stored in /var/mobile/Library/MobileTor/ then restart Tor. Maybe you will see something interesting in there.

I have another iphone , and the TOR working on it well.
i copied the configuration from that iphone to mine on /var/mobile/Library/MobileTor/ to same directory on my iphone, ans still show me same problem

when i run safari , it says : server did not respond , when i try again ( refresh the page ) it give me error 504 TTL expire

when i install "sid77.slackware.it_1-2_iphoneos-arm " it asks me to keep the original copy or install the new one

i say install new one version 3-1
then install tor toggale

but still give me same error .

TOR process NOT runing

hi guys ,
i installed TOR on my iPhone , but it did not work
after loooong search and trying ,i found that the problem that TOR process is not running !!!!!
the Poilop process is running well . but TOR not

Plzzzzzz if anyone know how to fix this and run it
btw , i installed Sbsetting , and toggled it .
but still not working

I'm having the same issue as the Anon above me. I have all the deps that Tor Toggle installed. I've configured the Wi-Fi to use 127.0.0.1:8118 as the proxy, however I receive 504 errors for any site I attempt to navigate to instantly. I can tell that Polipo is indeed running, but it looks like tor isn't. I pull up a bash prompt, run tor or torify, and the only output I receive is "Killed", regardless if run as mobile or as root.

very strange: I've tested latest build on an iPad running iOS 4.3.3 and everything works fine just out of the box.

which versions of iOS, Tor, libevent are you running?
do you edit default torrc by any chance?

I had your old version of tor that worked awesome. last night I updated to the new version and it doesnt work. the tor toggle turns green but tor doesnt start. using 127.0.0.1 and 8118, like the old version. using ipod touch. ios 4.2.1. libevent 2.0.13(updated that last night too.) any ideas? any chance of getting the old version?
