Transitory: Existing or lasting only a short time; short-lived or temporary.

Basing ones existence on transitory idealogies just means they change. For me, the one true constant in the world is change. Don't change, and it will always be a fight.

Agreed, thought the realization that change is constant can be a painful one at times.

Very much, that it can. Painful, disorienting, and often a lot of hassle if one has a lot of stock in something and is not prepared for change.
