...start using this thing again. Likely not regularly, but I would like to write more. Will people listen? Maybe. Do I care about that? Not so much.

Ten things I currently care about:
Hitchens, People that disagree with Hitchens,Perris Fury, B.A.M., job stability, Vanessa, Nugget, intellectual honesty, efficacy of argument, SpaceX

Hitchens is great. Used to be unsure about him, but now I admire him, even though he's an ass. Do you watch debates with him?

I've seen quite a few. The best so far are the ones with or including Denesh D'Souza. He seems to be the only one so far that puts up a decent counter to his arguments. Unfortunately it looks like his (D'Souza's) arguments in his main anti-atheist book ("What's so great about Christianity", I believe) don't hold water so well.

I'll try to find some particularly amusing ones I have seen. My pal Joe and I watch such videos for fun all the time, haha. In debate style and personality, Hitchens is the exact opposite of Harris, and Dawkins is in between.

do you disagree with Hitchens? Have you both watched all the Four Horsemen videos?

I generally like him, though it's somewhat upsetting that no one (prior to D'Souza) seemed to challenge him very much. Yes, I have see most if not all of the four horsemen videos.

Generally I'm trying to find more debates or interviews that don't seem to be such a slam dunk for Mr. Hitchens (or whichever horseman).

I've never seen Hitchens slammed by anyone, and I've watched quite of few of his videos, including ones not about religion (War in Iraq, which he supports, for example). There are some particularly funny ones on the subject where he straight-up insults people--it's hilarious. He's the only person who has managed to soften my generally anti-Iraq-war views. You should google for his articles on water boarding: he used to think it was not torture, until he tried it himself. His description of it is illuminating.
