Like did I miss something? (THIS IS A RANT!)

THE FOLLOWING RANT IS NOT MEANT TO HURT ANY FEELINGS. ITS JUST TO LET OUT SOME FRUSTRATION ON SOMETHING I CAN'T UNDERSTAND ABOUT SOME OF MY Girl FRIENDS.

It seems that most of my girl friends only care about one thing: some guy.

I hope I am counted as one of the guy friends xD I can sympathize with the girls because in our culture we're shown from an early age that the only way we can be happy is to fall in love. DUMB. If I get married I get married, but it's not my goal in life. My goal in life is to find a good career and be happy and have like ten cats. That's IT. Love can or can't be part of the equation.

I never really thought about but your right. Girls are given the wrong idea of love. I love Disney but that's a good example. I love what you said about the cats, I'd be that lady with the 10 cats too :3

Look, as much as I like to daydream about love and sex, it's not a priority right now in my life. I'm too damn focused on school! I want to grow up, become some awesome museum curator with a nice house and a ton of people I'm happy to call my friends. If I'm lucky enough to find a wonderful guy and have a couple of kids with him, that'll be the icing on the cake. But I definitely don't believe that you need a man to be happy.

And even if I do get a guy, I'm not gonna give it up right away. HE NEEDS TO WORK FOR IT, LOL!! ;)

I'm with you about wondering about love and sex SEX!!! and whatnot but it is not my goal in life. And he better work for it Liz! You need to make sure he's a good man ;D

ANd I like your life goals. We can have so much right now, no need to rush into anything just yet.
