Last night, a boy, maybe 11-12, brought up a mature rated game. His mom was with him, and I asked her if she knew that this was a mature rated title, and that it was okay. She said yes, and then said, "The violence doesn't bother me so much. But you know what does? When they put the sex and swearing into them." It took a good deal of energy

That's right, and I wonder why there's so much difference between Europe and America in all these questions about sex'n'violence... Maybe it's because of many past European wars?

(And, well, here in Russia they are all messed up. Violence is at higher degree, as well as sex...)

what astounds me is how neglectful parents blame the mental state of their kids on video games.
first it was comic books, then television...it's just never their fault.
