Famous Hands and Big Summer Plans

When thinking of the most famous hands of all time, what comes to mind? Perhaps the hands of Michelangelo as seen in his masterpiece 'David.' Maybe it's the Queen of England with her royal wave. Or more likely, Hamburger Helper with his curious grin and optimistic 'cook your own damn food' attitude ( Read more... )

Which Insider Tour? dbol April 28 2008, 01:26:23 UTC
So Dan Rubin and I were just talking about trying to go to one of the two dates in June--and I think we're going to shoot for the later one. I don't suppose you know which one you're hosting by any chance? If I'm going to pay 1000 DKK for a tour, it would be nice to know the MC!

Heya Derek,

I'm participating in both tours, but MC for the first one. One of the designers from Racers has traditionally MC'd all the Inside Tours, but he asked that I help out due to a scheduling conflict. Either way, I'm pretty sure you'll have a blast with either tour :)

Town Hall dreamandmagic September 21 2008, 09:49:40 UTC
Hi Jamie,

My name is Sebastien and I'm an AFOL from France.
I'm the very proud owner of the Green Grocer and my son and I are gradually making a whole town with LEGO modular buildings. We already have several buildings including a London-style house and a bookshop. I've stopped counting how many parts we've ordered on BrickLink! :)

A few days ago, I stumbled across photos of one of your masterpieces: the Town Hall.
Now, I know that it is not a model scheduled for release but I'm absolutely inl love with it: its exterior design with the columns, and its gorgeous details and minifig accessories inside.

You might not be able to say 'yes' but I figure the only way to find out it to ask so I would like to know if you have building instructions for this set.

I'm looking forward to your 2009 addition to the Modular Town Building series! :)

Regards

Sebastien
