Lately I've noticed myself doing more and more things that my mother does, e.g. wrinkling my chin when in concentration or thought, making similar gestures, resting in the same position, etc. We've always been quite similar in our temperament but to actually find myself doing the same physical things is, to put it simply, disturbing ( Read more... )

I can't remember the exact quote from the movie Spanglish but the mom is basically asking the daughter if it would be so bad that she (the daughter) is so like her.

I guess when we're young we think,man we're nothing like our parents, and if they were good people then when we get older, we're like damn, we're so alike.

Scary as hell though! I see it happening wiht my mom every day, I'm just as spacy and crazy as her :D

I know a surefire way not to but you would not want to take that way. Instead, you should flail your arms constantly.

Dude, I know I am gonna end up like my mother. She's already passed down that lovely thing called depression onto to me and the other kids. I wouldn't be surprised if I start... I can't even continue.

Then again, it ain't that bad.
