Won't Somebody Think of the Children!!! greyani January 27 2009, 18:38:36 UTC
Oh no! If this law passes then how will we send people to jail who don't blindly follow our doctrine? How will we institutionalize pushing our values onto others? Won’t somebody think of the children?! Don't they know that having a beer is far, far worse than having a parent stripped from the home and sent to jail? Also, what about our fines? Taking money out of already economically strapped households is what we do. If they aren’t buying from the liquor store, then they aren’t paying our steep taxes.
We can't have families exploring creative outlets that don't involve reading scripture. And heaven forbid that some families don't actually have kids, but are in fact all over the age of 21 in a household. What is this world coming to?! Would baby Jesus brew beer at home? Would he?

(Hurray for the one democrat in Utah that is trying to do away with terrible laws)
