I’ll try not to make this too long and rambling. Quite a few of these characters/ships are ones I’ve requested in the past for other exchanges, so if you’re looking for more prompts or ideas of what I like, please check out my Dear Author tag (on LJ).

Law & Order SVU
My main fandom these days, has been for several years now (although I’ve been a fan really going all the way back to when it first premiered in 1999). In general I am much more of a fan of the early years/“1.0” version of the show, although I enjoy some of the characters added on from Season 13/"2.0" onward. I will say I absolutely HATE this most current season, so feel free, if it applies, to completely ignore it as part of canon. I tend to, myself ;) Otherwise anything is really game.
John Munch & Odafin "Fin" Tutuola

I hate saying “anything”, but really, with these two, I honestly love just about any kind of story. I ship them like crazy but I also absolutely enjoy gen stories that focus on their friendship/partnership without any romantic/sexual elements, if you’re more comfortable or into that.
I definitely would love a story with some kind of hurt/comfort element, as that’s something I haven’t read or seen a lot of with these two. It could anything from one simply caring for the other while ill, to getting through a major life-or-death situation together. Similarly, presumed-dead (but not really) is one of my bulletproof tropes that I’d love to read with them. Feel free to pile on the angst, as long as there’s a happy ending.
One of my favorite storylines on SVU is the one dealing with Darius Parker in "Venom" and "Screwed"-especially how defensive and protective of Fin that Munch is during the trial. And how curious is it that, while Darius had so much dirt to drag up on Elliot, Olivia, Cragen and Fin, he didn't go after Munch at all? Was there something he was holding back on, in case he needed to push things even further or go on appeal? (Maybe even tying into Homicide canon and the theory that Munch killed Gordon Pratt.) So, yes, a story dealing with any of this, or missing scenes from the episode, is something I'd love.

I’d love a story looking at John adjusting to life after SVU. Maybe a casefic about an investigation he’s working as an SI, now, or just the process of adapting to a different environment, trying to let go of the darkness and brutality of Special Victims. Alternatively, a story about his early years in New York: why he left Baltimore, what it was like adjusting to a new police squad, a new focus on Special Victims instead of Homicide; two of my favorite episodes from season one are Remorse and Nocturne where you see John deeply affected by these cases and victims. Anything exploring his emotions/thoughts during those episodes would make me happy.
Nick Amaro & John Munch

Their friendship/mentorship is probably my #1 favorite thing about SVU from Season 13 onward. I only wish we'd gotten more of it. So I'd enjoy a gen story where, perhaps, they work a case together and we really see that bond growing. John's always so good with little kids, too, so I'd love a story where he interacts with Zara in some way; maybe baby sitting or spending a day off with Nick and his daughter.
Relationship-wise, this is my so-wrong-I-want-it-so-bad ship. And I'm going to be lazy and link again to my SmutSwap letter for details on kinks/scenarios I'd love for these two.
Odafin "Fin" Tutuola & None
Fin is a character we really know so little about, canonically, that I’d welcome any story that fleshes out his background, family life, etc. What was his experience in the Army Rangers like? What is is relationship like with his other family members (parents still alive? We know he has a brother who apparently is not accepting of Ken’s homosexuality.) Alternatively, what made him change his mind finally about taking the sergeant’s exam and seeking that promotion? Was it starting to think more about his future and retirement, now that he's becoming a grandfather?
Alexandra Cabot/John Munch
I didn’t nominate this ship so whoever did…you’re not the only one who is intrigued! I’ve only ever seen a few stories at FF.N with this pairing, so I would certainly love to see more. It’s an interesting dynamic to me, and honestly, Alex is a character we really never learn a great deal about…so what might captivate her interest in regards to Munch? (I mean, we certainly know John has a thing for blondes, heh, but I think he would be intrigued by her intelligence and passion for the job as well). I tend to think of Manhunt as a very Munch/Fin episode, but it also has good potential for Munch & Alex to develop into something, when she follows them to Canada for the extradition hearing. Mercy is also a good episode for their interactions, so a story set in and around the events of that one would be interesting as well.
Or, alternatively, maybe an AU of Loss where John & Alex are already in a relationship at the time of her shooting…how would he cope with believing she was dead? What if she came to him at the end, instead of to Elliot & Olivia, to let someone know she was in fact alive and going into WitSec? Would their relationship survive those years of separation?
Alternatively, if you want to go a smutty PWP type direction, I’d have no objection to that whatsoever. I definitely see John as very kink-positive and that they might have a sexual relationship because they are able to give each other something they both really crave. (I'd be all in favor of some daddy!kink here, or alternatively femmedom. Yes, please.)

Alexandra Eames & Robert Goren
I love their friendship and working relationship as partners on the show-they are just about perfect together, IMHO (though I do not ship them romantically at all). So again, a casefic focusing on them as partners would always be appreciated. Alternatively, something set in the future after the end of the show: where they both ended up, how/if they remained in contact, or perhaps some event in the future that brings them back together.
Alternatively, something dealing in more depth with the emotional fallout of Danny Ross' death would be lovely.
Chicago PD
Alvin Olinsky & Hank Voight
I'm a relatively new convert to Chicago PD (and the Chicago 'verse in general). But I always seem to be interested in the older, more mature characters in a series and here is no exception-especially as Alvin gets so little focus in most of the fic I've seen for PD. Specifically I was thinking how much I'd love a story focusing on the aftermath of the recent Fire/PD/Justice crossover event, where Alvin ended up losing his daughter Lexi in the fire. It was only a short while ago that Voight lost his son Justin; I can imagine them (in a manly, tough guy way) being able to be there for each other and understand things about their respective losses that no one else can. I can even, well, see Hank making sure that the kid responsible for the fire and Lexi's death meets a more unfortunate end than "merely" life in prison. So yes, feel free to go the dark vengeance route here-it seems more than appropriate and in-character for this show.

General Likes:
- Casefic, whether in the background of a relationship story or as the main focus of a gen fic.
- Missing scenes to fill in the gaps of favorite episodes, or explain things that otherwise seemed puzzling/unresolved as a viewer.
- Romance and relationships through the years: couples growing old together, reflections on how time changes people and their views on what they want from life.
- Hurt/comfort (especially emotional h/c) as long as there is lots of comforting and it’s not just a whump!fic).
- Sexy fun that isn’t all about penetration-I love frot, oral sex, extended kissing scenes, characters so turned on by each other that they can hardly last beyond some sensual touching, erotic massage, etc.
General Do Not Wants:
- Pregnancy/kidfic. I’ve had a long battle with infertility and childlessness, so it’s generally my #1 hard DNW. Please, nothing that suggests or promotes the idea that a person/couple can’t truly be happy and fulfilled until or unless they have children.
- Public humiliation/embarrassment.
- BDSM beyond the playful use of restraints, sensory denial, or spanking (unless specifically requested for certain ships where I could totally see and want it rougher). Other kink-related DNWs: bloodplay, watersports, scat.
- Main character death, permanent injury/mutilation.
- Unrequested AUs (high school, coffee shop, mundane, etc.) There are some characters/ships I wouldn't mind specific AUs for in which case I've mentioned them below.
