I used to write the Gibbs muse on Theatrical Muse, but let the account lapse because I didn't like being required to write X number of things by such and such time and so many per month, blah blah. As always, you have a very inciteful way of presenting what *I* imagine is how Gibbs thinks. I don't know how you crawl up into his brain and dinker around in there until you have it in your grasp, but it sure seems like that is what you've done!!!

Well, thanks! I don't know, this one felt a little too emo for me, but I guess it's all right. I like to think that he feels like his team are his kids for some reason.

He does act like a possessive father at times. I don't think that is a stretch at all. He is responsible for their lives, he leads them into danger. He *IS* their on-the-job father.
