I'd like to just donate money directly. (Not that I don't want stuff, but if someone else wants something I'd be buying just to send money, it makes no sense not to just send money, period.)

Any clue where/how to do THAT (donate directly)?

Yep! If you go to the group "about me" page there should be a button on there to donate to Tess' Paypal directly :)
