And oh was it grand! I took video of the room, and I hope we can upload it to YouTube sometime. The room was just....
(sigh)

SO cozy, and elegant, and lush, and relaxing, and spoiling. There were little lovely details everywhere, like lion heads at the base of every wood beam on the vaulted ceiling in the living room, the jacuzzi tub, the gorgeous ( Read more... )

Thanks! We had to sludge through some mud to get to that door, but I told Tom "it's SO worth it!" :)

It was! I tried to go into it with few expectations, since I had read some truly awful reviews online. But the only complaint I have at all is the fact that we could hear another guest with kids thumping up and down the stairs in our bedroom. Other than that, it was A+ experience.
