I call my grandma every week and try to shower her with tons of love, listening to every little thing she has to tell me, in part because she IS 84 and having some health problems, and I know she won't be here forever. (though every time I try to talk about it, my voice starts warbling) She's an AMAZING woman.

how awesome of you and your mom. I love that group shot of three generations, beauties all.

Your letter to your granny is so lovely, it makes me wistful that I never felt that way about my grandmother (or grandparents, of anyone in my family except my mother). They were all a bunch of controlling curmudgeons and I tried to distance myself.

But hey, there's TEA! And lovely spring weather! And love. What more does one need!?

My grandma is a really really remarkable woman...I've known very few people who could hold a candle to her at any age! My mom is so very wonderful too...I'm blessed to have a strong role model in both generations!!
