It's been a while, judging from my last entry date.  Things are going wonderfully in general, but it seems like most people have officially migrated off of LJ for journal entries.  I randomly checked LJ yesterday and discovered that 90% of my Friends view was populated by communities

It's FB and G+. Even I'm not immune. That said, for REAL posts, I come here. For snippets, I go elsewhere. Here I can be sure of a certain amount of privacy, and can really talk a bit deeper. I still check LJ about every other day.

On FB? I have too many 'friends' who are there for "political" reasons from OWbN and work. Makes the posting a scodge more shallow...

Yeah, I dig it. FB and G+ are just a bit more organic for me, and easier to follow when I'm one-handed scrolling with a baby in my other arm. I love the LJ filters and stuff, but now that G+ has the same thing I'm pretty much phasing LJ out.

Sad, too, because now I have to find a good extraction tool for all of my posts here. :)

totally agree.
i would never post anything personal on facebook, but i do post piddly stuff i don't mind the world knowing.
for real stuff i post here.

I post occasionally, but mostly I think since I work at home and only when there's work, without the 9-5 I'm bored much less, and have a lot less time sitting all in one place to put down my thoughts.

I do still post IC fiction and costume updates etc.

At this point I check it every day, even though mostly there's nothing new worth reading, and on the rare occasion I write PC fiction, there's really not a better place for me to put it. Which is sad, because I'm fairly sure this means almost nobody is reading my fiction.
