Oh, yeah, us IT types are aware of it. I don't think it'll be as big a deal as people make out. The key word in your sentence is "consulting". They'll be telling you things just to keep you paying them.
I think their might be some issues with some financial stuff (things not getting paid at the right time due to the early change) but mostly, it will be people showing up at the wrong time for appointments...which will be IT's fault, of course...
What I want to know is, why the heck would they even do that? I have never heard a creditable reason for it in the first place. I think it had outlived its usefullness anyway. What purpose to changing the dates? I know of two cities that voted to abstain from daylight savings changes all together. Why can't we all do that?
BTW Hows sunday for a quick meeting? Anywhere you want.
I have the kids and no car on Sunday so if you want to meet then it will need to be at my place. Otherwise, I will have many late nights this coming week and next weekend, etc.
We are in the process of updating / upgrading all of our machines to make certain when the date comes, we won't have any problems. I guess dst has always been an issue in IT industry, at the very least in companies that have offices in various time zone differences.
