Hahaha! I knew it! I knew Kurtis’ powers would short-circuit on him at a crucial moment and jeopardise them! You made him far too arrogant and self-assured to allow their mission to have nothing go wrong- he certainly threw a spanner in the works! XD

I hope the whole concept of Kurtis ‘screwing things’ will come into play more throughout the subsequent chapters. There are some strong sexual desires radiating from both Lara and Kurtis, notably in their dialogue and body language; they both clearly want each other but are too proud to admit it. I predict that these sexual undertones coming will surface and develop quickly into something more fruitful and kinky ^_^

I hope that Kurtis’ suggestion of, “We can hide at my place," means that they get to do some imitate hiding beneath the bed sheets: their body’s closely entwined, all naked and sweaty...*Drools*
