I just read it as brotherly love, nothing more. And it was beautiful. I'm sure Dean comforted Sammy often enough like that, when they were little, so time to return the favour. Cause sometimes even strong, grown up men just need a hug and a shoulder to lean into. And with everything Dean went through at that point, he can use an extra big dosage. And his not-so-small little brother is exactly the one who can provide that.
