I hope you enjoy the Pulleys - they are really interesting books! I find the writing beautiful and the ideas and characters intriguing, and the books somewhat frustrating overall, but in, like, a crunch way that makes me keep thinking and talking about them long after I've finished them.
The Abercrombie is also interesting. I read the first trilogy and ended up with a kind of grudging respect for what Abercrombie is doing, even though the grimdark is not really my thing.
I'm not very far into the Abercrombie, but I'm already starting to suspect my opinion of it may top out at "grudging respect" as well. It was a decent purgative for the mood I was in, though. We'll see how it goes.
I love when people do this because I write down all the titles if it's a genre I'm interested in (and sometimes even if it isn't) and check out all the blurbs to see if I want to add them to my Want To Read list. I'll be doing that later with this one! (Also, Stephen King posted a photo of himself in front of his bookshelves and now I want to zoom in and go through that photo with a fine-toothed comb.)
That's the one disappointing bit about doing most of my reading on Kindle and Kobo - no fun stacks to share. But so much cheaper!
I'm currently reading the 14th book in the Guild Hunter series. Funny that you mentioned m/m because this one is finally dealing with a m/m pairing that I've been hoping for for sooooo many books now.
I hope the Guild Hunter book delivers on that story!
A few weeks ago I started a reading journal, and pretty much the first thing I learned from it is that I basically only finish books when I read them in ebook form. I'm not sure what the deal is with that. Maybe I just need new glasses...

You might want to try Witchmark by CL Polk: Book 1 is m/m, Book 2 is f/f, Book 3 is f/nb.
