Reason to update. I went to the midnight release on Hurstbourne, dressed as Cornelius Fudge, and nearly won the costume contest. Got the book, and finished it about a half hour ago. But I want to kill J. K. Rowling right now. She's left things hanging in worse shape than she did with the last book, and totally killed off one of the best characters ( Read more... )

OMG! I got the book too!!! I only just started it but I am already addicted. I am just taking a few minutes to break from reading then I am back to reading.....lol I am glad to hear the book is good, but I don't think I can handle another death, after Sirus....it just hurts! ~Sarah~

Oh, this death was ten times worse for me than Sirius...but now she's saying that she "technically didn't say the characters died". Hm.

It's getting darker...and ironically enough, Jules, you were right. :/ There are theories going around, though, that he's not really dead, and even she's saying there's a possibility.

Ironically?!?! You act as if I don't know...ok so I didn't know but I was hoping it wouldn't happen. But he's not gone, think about it, what showed up in his office? The portrait! and what talked to them all through their lessons? The portrait of Sirius' relative! Sorry just my thought on the deal.

I agree that it is getting darker, but in the beginging of the book he said that he would not be allowed to protect Harry any more after Harry turns 17....so it kinda was foreshowdowing that respect but still, this was the first BOOK I have ever cried in....and who in the world is R.B.A. and how many more Horcurxes does he/she have.....grrr

R A B, I think, is Regulus A Black, Sirius' dead brother who was a Death Eater. The locket Horcrux is at Grimmauld Place, it's mentioned in the fifth book when they're cleaning out a room as a heavy gold locket that none of them could open.
