Sault Ste. Marie was fun. The boat tour of the Soo Locks was the highlight. It was there
that the ill fated freighter Edmund Fitzgerald was headed to seek safe harbor when she was
lost with all hands in November of 1974 - an event immortalized in Gordon Lightfoot's song

Spent the night last night with friends in Connecticut. Today, we skipped Cooperstown on an impulse, and then heard 3 hours later that every road in the county was under water due to flash floods.
