You mean Séguin, right? Very sad indeed, he wasn't old, only 66 years. :(

He stil had 2 more years to do as Premier President of the Cour des Comptes (he absolutely hated to read his title or the Court name translated in any languages)

Not that old, but he didn't have an healthy lifestyle either. He was often out of breath climbing the stairs to his office on the first floor.
