I went to see V for Vendetta last night. I enjoyed it thoroughly unlike my illustrious companion. She and I have radically different ideas about what makes a good movie, I focus on plot, and she on style and we no which is more important, really

Where does the plot come from if not the style. I ask you.

Good plot comes from good writing, good style comes from good filming.

Writing? Oh, you mean the words and how they convey the story through style?

I think the quality of a movie is dependent on the script, its goodness is decided well before some Jew-Producer decides to make it into a movie. Writers don't get enough credit.
