I also find myself feeling very cold, somewhat drowsy and confused if I haven't eaten for a few hours, even in the middle of 100 degree Texas summers. Probably caused by blood glucose heading down.
Another situation that causes my body parts to feel numb is from being in contact with a constantly vibrating device for an extended period. For me it's been vehicles and power tools. (Get your mind out of the gutter. LOL.)
rofl. I wasn't even thinking that until you referred to that.
Good point about the vibrations. Everything did feel extremely vibratey. I've been looking at some gloves that have a built in gel pad to reduce vibrations.
As far as not eating enough... that usually isn't something that happens to me. ;)
